Priyanga is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (USA) with over 16 years of experience in employee benefits and life insurance consulting industry. He specializes in actuarial valuations, product development, and risk management, helping organizations achieve clarity, compliance, and confidence in their decisions.

He currently serves as Managing Director and Actuary at UNITS Actuaries & Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, working with a team of highly experienced actuaries in delivering high-quality, data-driven actuarial solutions.
His expertise spans across:

- Retirement & Employee Benefits – actuarial valuations for gratuity and pension plans (IAS 19 / LKAS 19), funding valuations, contribution strategies, plan design, benefit enhancements, and feasibility studies.
- Life Insurance – product development and pricing, experience analysis, assumption setting, statutory actuarial valuations, and solvency reporting under Risk-Based Capital (RBC)
- Risk & Analytics – financial risk modeling, stress testing, and experience studies to enhance resilience and ensure capital adequacy.
Priyanga is recognized for delivering actuarial insights that are both technically sound and socially meaningful. His collaborative approach makes him a trusted partner for clients seeking robust, data-driven solutions.
He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Statistics & Computer Science and an M.Sc. in Financial Mathematics from the University of Colombo. In addition to being an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (USA), he is also an Associate Member of the Actuarial Association of Sri Lanka, where he served as a Council Member (2016–2017).

M. Jayaraman is a seasoned actuarial business leader with over 30 years of experience spanning life, health, and retirement benefits. He brings a proven record of transforming actuarial insight into strategic, data-driven business outcomes for insurers across Asia.

He has a proven track record of building high-performing actuarial functions and translating complex analyses into actionable business insights.
Since April 2025, Jayaraman has served as a Consulting Actuary, advising insurers on product development, pricing, reserving, and emerging experience analytics. Previously, he was Executive Vice President at Star Health Insurance, where he led actuarial pricing, reserve assessments, and profitability reviews.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an independent consulting actuary and held senior leadership roles at AIA Insurance and Union Assurance in Sri Lanka, where he strengthened actuarial governance, enhanced analytical capabilities, and fostered multidisciplinary team development.
His prior leadership also includes senior roles such as Senior Group Manager at WNS Global Services, Vice President at Ageas Life Insurance, and Vice President at HSBC Life Insurance. He began his actuarial career with Sun Life Insurance, GE Capital, and LIC of India.
Jayaraman’s expertise includes actuarial modeling frameworks, product pricing, reserve reviews, and experience studies. Recognized for his strong analytical acumen, client engagement, and team leadership, he supports insurers in meeting regulatory expectations, strengthening governance, and achieving sustainable growth through data-driven decisions.
Jayaraman holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Bharathidasan University. He is a Fellow of both the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK) and the Institute of Actuaries of India.
